Now first off im not a huge fan of the conflict games, but have played a few and they were ok just wernt something to go out and buy. Conflict: Denied Ops puts players in control of two of these merciless operatives, each of them highly specialized in both weapons and military tactics. With gameplay focused on accessible two-man tactics, utilize simple commands and switch seamlessly between team mates to lay down covering fire, explore diverging paths, create distractions and pin the enemy under fire. Now there is a demo out for this game and it is horrible. As well as the finished title of this game is terrible. The game looks like a shitty xbox 1 title that has some weird gloss all over it. The controls are not very good and your partner when you arnt in his shoes, yes you switch between the two guys, he isnt doing anything and wiill stick to walls or just stay in an area making you take out all the same looking character models. They had to throw in some crazy dialect that involves fuck you and dont talk to me like there both huge assholes put together and wanna cuss like saiors the whole game. Its such a stupid game that I literally laughed at the game itself and turned it off. Dont waste time on this piece of crap and let it hit the bargain bin so people can get ti for achievements if you can bare this lame ass title.

Karaoke Revolution Presents American Idol Encore review
Karaoke Revolution Presents American Idol Encore is another karaoke game with the american ido contest tacked on. To be honest its not that bad of a game just there arent a lot of songs to choose from. The DLC at 120 space bucks isnt that expensive but with only 6 of the 25 songs available its nothing to jump and shout about. But I got it for me and the GF to play and have fun with, also the rock band mic works just fine. But there isnt anything special except to hear randy, paula snd simon praise or horribly hate you on your singing. Personally I would wait for Singstar which will clearyl be more popular and have way more songs for it as well as a nice DLC program via PSN and HOME. So if you need a new party game and like american idol then pick this up. But dtick with rock band and GH III if you want a bigger song list and a good interactive experience.

Frontlines:Fuels of War
well at first I didnt enjoy the single player demo that was shown and passed out on XBL. Then I tried out the multiplayer demo and It wasnt that bad but there were some lag issues. Well they took all the feedback people gave into consideration and fixed alot of the bugs the demo and multiplayer demo had. The retail isnt the best FPS ever but its deff. something to look into if your want a new type battlefield game. I feel like it was a rehashing of modern combat with its own twist on some gameplay stuff. There are still some problems with the multiplayer having some drop points in visuals as well as balancing issues. I literally took a turret and mauled down fools at there last spawn/checkpoint until we won. The campaign itself isnt that bad but I dont really like the controls as much as I do other FPS games. This again is one of those clone FPS games that will hit the market and get maybe a few hundread people who buy it or rent it but will eb done with it in about a month or so. So if you can check this out via gamefly or video store I say go for it. But try out the demo and stuff before you think of a purchase and such.

Dynasty Warriors 6 review
Set in Ancient China during the 3rd century, Dynasty Warriors 6 immerses gamers in a truly cinematic kung-fu action experience. Celebrated characters have been completely re-imagined with new weapons and fighting techniques motion-captured from some of today’s leading stuntmen and women in Asia. With the game’s new “Renbu” attack system and game controls, players can execute lightning-fast combos and the most dazzling fighting moves with ease. Well there is not a lot new here for this title nor has there been for the last 5 titles or there spin-offs. But this is the first next gen Dynasty warriors game. Sporting a somewhat more detailed look, it still suffers from all the problems of the previous ones. Bad camera, pop-ins , no environment and very glitchy controls. You would think that Koei would have said hey lets try to make something that will work this time instead of the exact same game, or at least thrown in online multiplayer this time. But no we got a new paint job that isnt really that good anyway. So why even bother checking this title out? Well becuase somehting about beating the hell out of a slew of guys with some cool weapons is very fun and appealing. Now if the problems had been fixed this series could be something that fans and newcomers can be proud to own. Because no one plays this game for its story or for its history, they play to beat up on guys and do it with some great weaponry. So while this ios not a great title and certainly is not worth the full retail amount, it does fill your appetite for that lets so how many guys I can throw in the air with this giant spiked stick. So im sorry Koei but I cant recommend this to anyone since you havnt had a good title since Dynasty warriors 2 and event hat one wasnt very good. So please lets get something new and creative out on the market to woo all your adoring fans back in.

LOST: Via Domus review
After Oceanic Air flight 815 tore apart in mid-air and crashed on a seemingly deserted Pacific island, its survivors were forced to find inner strength they never knew they had in order to survive. The band of friends, family, enemies and strangers has become reluctant heroes who must work together against the cruel weather and harsh terrain if they want to stay alive. Danger and mystery loom behind every corner on the island, and those they thought could be trusted may turn against them. Even heroes have secrets.
* Play as a survivor of Oceanic Flight 815: Confront your dark past, seek your redemption, and ultimately find a way home.
* Authentic 'Lost' experience: Explore familiar locations, unravel mysteries, and interact with the main characters from the show.
* Survive the challenges that the island throws at you: Solve puzzles, outsmart enemies, battle the smoke monster, and overcome many other challenges to survive the island and come out alive.
Now first I have to say that I have only seen about 2 or 3 episodes of lost and have heard a few things about whats going on. This game does not dealve into the main story of LOST. It does have all the characters and the island and such, but its main focus is around a new survivor which you then and get to explore and see how he plays a role on the island. You will visit key areas from the show which you will recognize, but there isnt much to do. Its a very linear game with a basic walk down this path or follow these signs to reach your destination. You do all this by basically talking to everyone asking them question until a cenimatic or a clue is given. All the talking is done with text menu's. You have your clue questions, personal questions and then inventory and trade. There arnt any enemies really in this game either so its very hard to die. The only things you technically fight/run from is the monster on the island as well as the others who shoot at you. The basic layout of the game is run threw an area and either collect an item or follow and meet a person to then do the same thing again. They mix it up with the PC terminals which ask you brain teasers and the sometimes horrific FUSE puzzles which unless you stock up on them (Which there all over the place) you can easily frustrate yourself. Another mix is the Trade function with the islanders. You can trade stuff you find for other stuff they have, now this is a cool idea but you really only need to trade for two things the whole game. Some torches in the beginning and then a gun later on which you use 3 times. The last thing thrown in is the whole running events. You basically run and hit either Y or A to slide or jump over branches, tree's or any other obstacle thrown in your way. Now these wernt very challanging but they were a good change fromt he ok walk here now click this feel. So while I did enjoy the game which had a pretty decent story, if your a lost fan your gonna feel very dissappointed and left in the cold thinking your gonna get some new answers. Visuals and sound are pretty good for a TV show tie in game. This is no Uncharted but ti seems like they took some notes from Naughty Dog on whats to be expected as far as emotion and such. There is a very lush foliage for the island itself but you only really got to about 8 locals so there isnt much diversity here since you spend most of your time going back and forth through a few places doing the fetch quest. Sound is straight from the show, minus the voice acting. Its not bad voice acting its just its not the cast from the show at all so if your looking for that its not here. So while lost the game is its own unique game with a twist at the end much liek the show you will like or dislike this game. I liked it for what it was for the few hours it lasted. The achievements are also easy to get and will be a breeze if you have a weekend to kill.

Dragon Quest Swords The Masked Queen And The Tower Of Mirror Review
Five years have passed since the defeat of the Deathbringer, and the kingdom of Avalonia joyously celebrates what seems to be an everlasting era of peace. However, a closer look reveals that things are amiss. Calamity arises within the kingdom, as unfamiliar and powerful monsters invade the outskirts of the town. With the Deathbringer gone, what explanation is there for the onset of these monsters? And what of the queen, who has come to hide her face behind a strange mask? Make your way through the perilous journey, solve the baffling mysteries and return order to Avalonia. While the story is of the Dragon Quest standards the gameplay is not. Its FPS with wii mote slashes and what not. While this doesnt sound to fun and sound slike it wouldnt work well with the wiimote, your almost right. While a lot fo the stuff isnt as respnsive or as accurate as one would hope there is still some joy out of the game. Its a new twist to the series that seems to just be put out for the name selling and not the game, since DQ will be on the DS from now on or so we have been told. But this is another mediocre title for the wii brought to you by Square ENIX. Personally everytime they try something different like this it gets screwed up, look at Dirge of Cerberus for the PS2. But then again this wasnt suppose to revitalize the series its just to have fun and appeal to everyone, as it does. The wiimote is all that is used here, you use the motion to do strikes and slashes and the D-pad navigates you down the path. You use B to trigger your shield and 2 for your special attack. Very simple much liek the visuals, simple. The cute cartoony look that we love from Akira Toriyama is well present here. As well as the very soothing sounds of the soundtrack you will recognize from previous games. All very calming or intense depending on the situation at hand. While there isnt much to this game, it simplicity is what makes it unique. No worrying about turn based gameplay now your worried about making the correct hit on millions of differnt slime types. So check this one out if your a fan of the series like me, but if your not a fan of the DQ series it may not be as enjoyable unless your wanting to get in some good sword tech.

Lost Odyssey review
"Lost Odyssey" is the story of Kaim, an immortal character who has lived more than 1,000 years and doesn't remember his past and doesn't know where his future lies. Throughout Kaim's journey, a handful of characters will join him on an odyssey to discover their intricate past and destiny, leading players through a dramatic story of massive scale. "Lost Odyssey" will feature breathtaking visuals and an epic adventure made possible only by the power of Xbox 360. Engaging and unparalleled emotional story. With story sequences penned by award-winning Japanese novelist Kiyoshi Shigematsu in cooperation with producer Hironobu Sakaguchi, "Lost Odyssey" sets a new benchmark for the RPG genre with a combination of true-to-life cinematics and the story of an immortal man who has been suffering in many ways for 1,000 years. Players will witness Kaim's life as he lives through many generations, becomes part of numerous families, falls in and out of love, and confronts all of the conflicts that arise. Kaim's struggles are set in a world that is on the verge of a "mystical industrial revolution," where mankind has attained dark powers.
im about 29 hours into the game and im loving evey second of this game. The biggest thing I can say about it is that it feels very much like final fantasy VIII. The way you move and the way the fights play out remind me of that game, thus I started that game again as well. This is a traditional style RPG with random battles as well as random saves. So Brett im sorry you will hate this one because it has the things you hate the most. So Gamefly it man! But that aside the story is very cool and the visuals look amazing, its def. a game that everyone should give a try at least. The combat is cool where it has this "ring system" which basically is like materia in your sword or person. You basically create these rings or buy them and add them to your list. You trigger the ring by pulling the right trigger and releasing it when the circle matches up with another circle and then you do the effects of the ring plus more damage. The same with the magic you almost have to learn stuff to use magic and what not. The major problems seem to be that the load times can be a pain in the sword as well as the glichy framerate in cutscenes/battles. That seems to be the only complaint on my end for the game itself. The biggest complaint I have is the box. Its the worst idea ever that you get a fucking sleeve for the 4th disc. WHY WOULD I WANT A DISC IN THE SLEEVE!!! That so dumb mistwalker, put the damn game in the extra holder as apart of the case jesus. That really ticked me off more than anything. But all in all I recommend this one to all you RPG fans out there who want something originaly styled with a good story and combat.

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic Elements
Dark Messiah of Might and Magic Elements is a remake of the PC title that hit about a year or so ago. A lot of people say it oblivion with a new story. This is false the only thing that seems to be like oblivion is the medevil theme and the firt person view. This is more of an action game that had no press coverage at all really. There is a demo out for the game which is ok and has you play the intro of the game where you have none of the powers or all the classes to chose frm. You can choose like 4 or 5 classes and I chose an Assassin. There's warrior, mage and some others to choose from and you can basically level up to use new items and skills. Nothing too deep as far as customization. The gameplay is ok looing but nothing to drop your jaw at. Its one of those games if your a fan of these types of games (oblivion, two worlds) Then this is a tittle you should pick up. Im not too far in but I actually enjoy the game thus far. The story is kind of weak and I really dont give a shit about it, but I do like the fact I get to kill a cyclops and other creatures. I dont like how all the enemies are exactly the same. Just a sword or shield and bow are all the differs them. All the knights are black and all the mages are dark and so on. So no creativity is thrwn into this but then again its a low budget pc remake so nothing new is done to it. There is also a multiplayer feature that feels aded on to just sell units. I havnt seen anyone online yet to play s I can comment on it but im assuming its a death match and capture points stuff. So nothing great and special. Overall this isnt a great game but if your into this type of game and gameplay then pick it up. But if your looking for a new oblivion your looking in the wrong place and will have to wait till FALLOUT 3 hits.

Devil May Cry 4 Review
First off I have to say sorry to Kurse because he has to wait two to three days before getting this game. So now that that's ut of the way, I have been a fan of DMC for awhile. I ought the first game and loved and then the second one came out. Now a lot of people hated it, I on the other hand thought it was a solid title not worthy of being a sequal but rather an expansion pack to DMC 1. Then some time went buy and DMC 3 popped onto the ps2 with some rather difficult play thus leading to the special edition of the game to help ut those who couldnt beat it. Now we are on the fourth installment of the game and it takes on the role of MGS2 with starring a new character to play as, Nero. Now ou dont always play as nero you do get to fight it up as Dante a ways into the game. Now as far as story I wont spoil anything for anyone but I will say its better than 2 but not as good as 1.
Most of you have played the demo, well at least I hope mst of you did. Anyway, the controls feel like those of DMC 3 with the fast paced movement and depending on your style you can use the sword, gun or devil bringer. Speaking of that, the devil bringer is nero's arm that has some cool powers like beathing the shit out of guys, pulling them towards you or throwing them into the air for some kller aerial combos. But if you have played any DMC game you get the control scheme and its the same just there are a few new things added to the mix. Like the devil bringer as I said before. Nero's sword can be ramped up to dish out a more powerful attack and Dante, well ill just say he gets a kick ass gun persay to use that I like alot.
Its nice to see a series I like come into the next chapter of gaming and look good. Seeing Nero/Dante dish out some major ass whipping in such a beautiful way almost brings a tear to my eye. I SAID ALMOST! hahaha. The same goes for the sound I like the music score that goes with the game and the voice acting is spot on as well as it was in the othe rtitles. If it was corny it was either bad ass r funny nothing cheesy about these guys.
Saying all these good things about the game doesnt mean there arnt any problems with it. The gameplay does have its flaws, enemies is one of them. There are not a lot of different types of enemies and they all look very very similar. So you kind of get bored killing waves of puppet monsters with diifferent blades for body parts. Another big problem is of course the camera. As will all action games the camera seems to like to get stuck when im fighting someone to where I cant see nero/dante and I get fucken killed. This is bullshit, why cant we get a camera system that works well with 3rd person action titles. And fnally you have the boss battles, now im not knocking the battles themselves but look foreward to fighting the same guys two or maybe three times before they leave you alone. they just cant get enough of your ass kicking I guess. Now all this being said DMC 4 is a great game and definetly one you should check out. Just dont think this is the next step of actn gaming and its just oerfect. It has its normal flaws as with the other ones, but its still an ass kicking beast. Sowhen you see it in the store check it out.

The Club
Only the most ruthless killers can join the underground elite known as The Club. From acclaimed developer Bizarre Creations, The Club takes the explosive action of the shooter genre and blends it with break-neck speed of high-octane race titles to create a radically new kind of action experience. Players will blast through a secretive tournament known only as The Club, where the world’s rich and powerful watch merciless fighters test their skills. While highly trained and effectively brutal, most combatants find themselves forced to participate. The posse of urban warriors represents a variety of countries and backgrounds. They share almost nothing in common except for participating in the ultimate blood sport where the only reward is survival.
Players will choose between eight unique fighters, each with their own combat style and agendas, as they travel the globe in a series of visceral underground matches. In addition to a variety of single-player scenarios, The Club boasts an array of multiplayer options to satisfy even the most discerning action aficionado.
* Urban Warriors – Each character in The Club flaunts a distinct style and background. Whether forced to participate or satisfying a simple bloodlust, each fighter brings something different to the roster.
* Fight to Survive – Choose one of eight highly-trained fighters and blast through over 40 single-player levels. Choose from a variety of game modes and challenges, including: Time Attack, Survive, Siege and Run the Gauntlet.

* Build the Highest Score – An exclusive score-based accumulation system creates rabid competition among players – high scores lead to new weapons, characters and maps.
* The Perfect Arsenal – The Club benefits from 17 high-powered assault weapons, including Sniper Rifles, High Caliber Pistols, Sub Machine Guns, Mounted Weapons, Automatic Weapons and more.
im about 1/3 of the way through and its basically just a 3rd person shooter. But it looks really good for a unknown game. Its basically set up like a racing game I guess, where you do a series of events and try to win first place. Its a very simple shooter with the only flaw I guess being its nothng special. The big thing is the multiplayer is actually pretty cool. Its great that there is no lag what so ever the numerous times I have played online. There are the basic events for multiplayer and a slew of guys to be so its again one of those games that is great to pick up if you gotta extra cash or you find it cheap, or your like me and need your achievemnt score fix.

Dairantou Smash Brothers X !!! REVIEW - JWII
Ok guys so I got my hands on Super Smash Bros. Brawl and I must say its pretty good. Now ive had it for about 4 hours now and have played thrugh with a few characters and have tried online multiplay as well. All work very well and I dont see any bugs really that hurt the game. First things first, characters, pretty much all the new guys minus snake and sonic are playable from the start of the game. I wont list them all cause you can find that easily by looking in google. They all look very well done and polished. no more jagged edges on the characters from the N64 days everyone has been updated or is built updated with detail in mind. Now its no 360 or ps3 game but it does look good for a wii game, much like Super Mario Galaxy. Next lets go into controls. The wiimote controls are simple 1 and 2 attack d-pad moves and jumps and B blocks. The other buttons can do things as well but this is the basic setup for the game, simple and easy. I will be playing with the classic controller next so ill let you know how that is later. As far as navigating through the game its the same. The selection screen for the characters is the same you pick a coin and drop in on your guy and can change live amounts and color. Next you select a stage and then you go out and brawl. The stages are very good and all have some unique twist to them. the coolest one iI have played s far is the ice climbers stage where you skid down a muntain on a glacier rock so the world is tilted sideways sometimes, it was really cool and you had to pay attention to yourself as well as others. Lastly we can talk about visuals and sound. The visuals like I said loked good, especially since this game is on a DL disk (8.5gb). The levels are polished as are the characters and the way they both work together I saw no hickups or lag whatsoever. Sound is very cool with a ton of music scores this brings you back to some old school SSB. As well as reminds you of the classic games you played back in the day. The voices are in japanese of course but they sound good and all have there own set of tracks. Finally, ONLINE PLAY! Online is fun and seems to work well when you connect to a friend using the friend code system. No lag really as long as you have good connections, im assuming a direct connecton will be best since thats how it works with ps3 and 360. But the few rounds I tried over the quick match were ne to successful. This is b/c of the huge distace my game would carry to play others. So no worries im sure it will be fine when it hits here. I asked a few people how it was and they said its fine in japan just as long as you got good connectons then it works out great much like super maro strikers. So there you have it a look at SSBB for the wii, due out march 9, 2008.
